OK, so I'm tired of spammers trying to register here. I've turned off new member registration because it seems like that's all we've been getting lately. However, I don't want to prevent new real people from joining here (trust me, we'd love to have NEW REAL PEOPLE
), so here's the deal.
If you want to register an account, EMAIL ME:drannit [at] gmail [dot] com
Specify the username you would like. The email address from which you send your request will be the one connected to your account, and a confirmation will be sent there. If you happened to register an account in the last week and I didn't activate it before turning off new member registration, you can drop me a line about that as well and I'll take care of it.
And a few notes for existing members:
- If you ever receive a spam PM from another forum member, please notify me IMMEDIATELY. Anyone who uses the private messaging feature to send spam will have their user account deleted with no notice.
- For those with user accounts, if you have a zero post count and your profile shows that you haven't visited the forum in over 100 days, your account is subject to deletion (i.e., no worries if you've posted even once or if you've never posted but browse every few months).
